Well...last week buying the hook paid off big as Denver lost by 3, but I recommended getting the extra half-point. However, overall, picks went 2-3 bringing posted record to 27-21-1
For today, there are 5 system picks:
Seattle +7
Houston +11.5 (bodog)
NYjets +6
StL Rams +7
Tampa Bay +6 (bodog)
And one additional play:
Kansas City +1.5
Rams can perform with Chris Chandler at QB (come on....how many of you thought he had retired?!).....only worry is that Julius Peppers gets through and knocks him out of the game. Houston is a tough pick vs. such an offensive juggernaut as Indy has been, but Carr has the potential to stay in step for much of the game. Granted, Carr has slumped also for several weeks, largely due to inconsistency in the running game. But Indy defense has a way of making an offense look better. Seattle is playing for Holmgren's job, and I think they pull together for him.
The past several weeks have been treading water (8-10 since week 10), but perhaps today we can cut right through to a great week.
